Where the facts come from

Store facts — price, editions, system requirements, storage size, language support — are read from the Steam store API, not from press releases. Publisher announcements describe intentions; store listings describe the product, and when they disagree we follow the store.

Move data was compiled from the July open beta build and from Arc System Works’ official character guides. Videos are verified before they are listed: each one’s real title and uploading channel are read back from YouTube, and anything whose own title does not confirm both the game and the subject is dropped.

What we will not do

• Invent frame data. It needs the retail build to measure. The columns exist and stay visibly empty until August 6, 2026.
• Guess a kit from a trailer. Four launch fighters and one announced DLC character have no published movelist. Their pages say so instead of filling the gap.
• Blur reported into confirmed. Voice casting is split into what has been officially credited and what is only widely reported, and the two are labelled differently everywhere they appear.
• Publish a tier list with no frame data behind it. The kit comparison counts what is in each documented movelist instead. It used to guess playstyle archetypes from keywords and got about half of them wrong; that was removed.
• Claim to be the only one doing something. We link to ComboForge for combos because a year-old community project does that better than we would.

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. The contact page explains how to reach us, and corrections that come with a source get made the same day.
