What is actually in each fighter's kit
Counted, not ranked. 16 of 20 launch fighters have a documented movelist; for each one this shows the move-type mix, how much of the kit costs skill gauge, and how much of it works in the air.

No documented kit
Hulk, Carnage, Deadpool, Loki. These were not playable in the open beta and have no published movelist, so there is nothing to count. They are absent from the table rather than estimated into it.
How to read this
Type mix is the count of each documented move category, exactly as the source labelled it: Unique Move, Skill, Super Skill, Ultimate Skill. We are not restating what each category costs, because the gauge column below already shows what was actually published per move.
Costs gauge counts moves with a published skill gauge cost. A move with no published cost is missing data, not a confirmed free move — so read this as a floor rather than an exact figure.
Air-usable counts moves explicitly documented as usable in the air. We are not going to tell you what that implies about a character’s gameplan — that is the interpretation this page exists to avoid.
Every number on this page is a count of a field in the move data. Click any fighter to see the moves those counts come from.
Common questions
- What is the best character in Marvel Tōkon?
- Nobody knows yet, and anyone publishing a confident answer today is guessing. The game only released on August 6, no public frame data exists yet, and the only structured hands-on data is the three-day beta that covered 16 of the 20 launch fighters.
- Is there an official Marvel Tōkon tier list?
- No. Tier lists are community output, and a meaningful one needs frame data and competitive results that still do not exist this early.
- Why doesn't this page assign archetypes like zoner or rushdown?
- Because we cannot derive them honestly. We hold move names, categories, gauge costs and air/hold flags — all facts. An archetype is an interpretation of how a character plays, which needs an official statement or real match data. An earlier version of this page guessed archetypes from keywords in move descriptions and got roughly half the roster wrong, including labelling Storm a grappler. We removed it rather than tune it.
- What can I actually learn from this page?
- How each documented kit is built: how many moves of each type, how many cost skill gauge, and how much of the kit works in the air. Those are counts of published fields. What they mean for how a character plays is your call, not ours — we are not in a position to make it yet.
