The Amazing Guardians mix New York street heroes with cosmic outlaws: Spider-Man's agile all-rounder kit, Ms. Marvel's stretched-out mid-range, Star-Lord's gun zoning, and Peni Parker's SP//dr mech. The name mashes up 'Amazing Spider-Man' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy' — and so does the lineup.

For new players this is the natural first team: it contains the game's mascot (Spider-Man) and one of its officially recommended beginner characters (Ms. Marvel), plus enough kit variety to stay interesting as your fundamentals improve.

All four members are on the July open beta roster, so early impressions and footage of the full squad exist.
