Summary
The Merc with a Mouth crashes the Outriders.
Deadpool rounds out the launch roster and, like the other three latecomers, was not in the open beta. He is built as a high-risk, high-reward fighter with a twist no one else has: he spends his own health to deal damage, then works to earn it back.
He can pierce himself or intentionally take damage to build a Healing Gauge, throw grenades that roll one of three random effects, and swing between zoning and rushdown with his pistols and sword. We are not reprinting a verified input-by-input command list with costs, but the self-harm-for-power identity is the officially described core of his kit.
Move list
The full input-by-input command list for Deadpool — every move with its skill-gauge cost — is not up here yet. The official character guide did reveal how Deadpool plays, and that breakdown, with the signature moves named, is in the How to play Deadpool section below. This table stays empty until a verified command list is published, rather than carry inputs and costs invented from footage.
Startup, active, recovery and on-block values need the retail build to measure and land here after August 6, 2026. Invented frame data is worse than none.
How to play Deadpool
Deadpool turns his own health bar into a resource. The high-risk, high-reward premise is literal: he can pierce himself or eat damage on purpose to charge a Healing Gauge, betting present health on a bigger payoff and clawing it back over time.
Around that gimmick he is a flexible pest. Pistols and sword let him slide between zoning at range and rushdown up close, and his grenades go off with one of three random effects — so even his tools carry a gamble. The result is a character who is always trading, always turning risk into reward when the read is right.
He is a swing-y, momentum-driven fighter rather than a steady one, and the health economy means a Deadpool player is constantly deciding how much life to spend now for damage later. He was not part of the open beta, so there is no pick-rate history for him; the description above is from the official reveal, and a full move table with gauge costs will be added when a verified source publishes one.
Kit-level gameplan from Deadpool’s documented moves and the open-beta usage split — not frame data. Specific frame advantages and matchup reads land once the retail build is tested.
Official character guide
Arc System Works has not published a character guide for Deadpoolyet. We link the official one when it exists rather than substituting someone else’s footage.
Deadpool is voiced by Nolan North — officially credited (source).
Combos
Combo routes for Deadpool live at ComboForge, where players have been submitting and voting on them for a year. That is a better source than anything we would assemble here.
