Phoenix Cyclops is the first confirmed DLC character for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con and officially announced on the PlayStation Blog on July 23, 2026. He arrives in Fall 2026 as the opening act of the Year 1 Character & Stage Pass.

This is not regular Cyclops: it's the Phoenix Five incarnation from Marvel's 2012 Avengers vs. X-Men arc — Scott Summers wielding a share of the Phoenix Force. The official description pairs his precision optic blasts and hand-to-hand training with Phoenix-amplified power, which reads like a mid-range character with a super-charged resource layer, though the actual kit remains to be tested when he ships.

One detail is already locked: he's voiced by Ray Chase, who plays Cyclops in X-Men '97, Marvel Rivals, and Marvel Cosmic Invasion — the confirmed voice credit for the game's first Year 1 DLC fighter, named this far ahead of his Fall 2026 release. The reveal trailer also teased three more unnamed characters and an additional stage coming through Year 1.

No movelist has been published for Phoenix Cyclops yet. They were not playable in the open beta, so there is nothing documented to list. We would rather show an empty section than fill it with moves invented from trailer footage. It appears here the day there is a source.

Startup, active, recovery and on-block values need the retail build to measure and land here after August 6, 2026. Invented frame data is worse than none.
